Psychological Assessments

We provide comprehensive psychological evaluations to assist with diagnosis, treatment planning, and academic accommodations. Psychological assessment consists of professionally developed and validated measures of personality, coping styles, symptoms, and cognitive abilities. The process includes a clinical interview and a feedback session. The report includes a summary of patient history, current functioning, and detailed recommendations. With a release of information, reports are made available to other treatment providers and/or schools. Costs vary and are determined by the extent of testing and time needed for administration, scoring, feedback, and report writing. A variety of assessments are offered at MPA:

  • Eating Disorders

  • Pre-bariatric surgery evaluation

  • General personality or personality disorders

  • Child/Teen diagnostic assessment

  • Autism Spectrum Assessment

  • Career Assessment

  • Substance Abuse

  • ADHD and Executive Functioning
