Taking the first step can be the hardest, but being here means you're ready. I'm excited to help you with your journey of self-discovery, healing and new possibilities!
The beauty of therapy is that it is unique to every individual. Through a person-centered approach, we can work together to create a plan that best fits your own needs and wants. With empathy, empowerment, and care, every individual can grow, heal and create the life they want to live. My primary objective is to provide a safe space for you to process your thoughts and emotions, without judgement, so you can become that best version of yourself.
I am EDMR trained with experience in Addictions and Co-occurring disorders, Trauma and PTSD, Anxiety, Grief, Self-Esteem, and Adverse Childhood Experiences. I see Adults, Adolescents and kids ages 6 and up. I am an LGBTQ+ ally and am Bilingual in Spanish and English. I use different therapeutic approaches, specifically Eclectic Therapy. This allows me to bring different techniques from EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy into our sessions. I offer both in person and virtual sessions.
I completed my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mercer University and completed my Bachelor’s in Psychology at Georgia State University with a minor in Criminal Justice. I am currently working towards my LPC and am under the supervision of Laura Knox Furfari, LMFT and direction of Meg McLeroy, LMFT. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, as I would be more than happy to offer a free 15-minute consultation!
