Finding the right therapist is deeply personal and can be overwhelming. I strive to help you connect with yourself and explore what matters most in your life.
Many of us reach a point where the ways we’ve learned to navigate life no longer feel sustainable. The patterns, beliefs, and coping strategies that once helped us survive can leave us feeling stuck. Therapy provides a space for you to explore these challenges with compassion and curiosity, while reconnecting with your strengths and values. I support individuals navigating issues surrounding adoption, family complexity and estrangement, chronic illness, disability, depression, anxiety, and life transitions.
I became a therapist in part because of the transformative impact therapy had on my own life. As an adoptee, I have navigated questions of identity and belonging, culture, family complexity, and grief, and this lived experience fuels my passion for walking alongside others in their own journeys of healing. My approach is existential and humanistic, incorporating acceptance and commitment therapy. As your therapist, my role is to be a collaborator, bringing nurturance and new perspectives to support you in meeting your goals.
I am currently accepting clients for in-person and virtual individual counseling. I completed my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Georgia State University and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Georgia State. I work under the clinical supervision of Jessie Alexander, LPC, CPCS, and the direction of Meg McLeroy, LMFT. If you’re interested in working together, or just want to ask some questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out for a free consultation!
