Curiosity and self-trust are at the heart of my approach. I believe you already have within you the capacity for growth and change, and therapy can help you reconnect with it.
Sometimes the ways we’ve learned to get through life stop working for us. Maybe you feel disconnected from yourself or the people around you. You might feel anxious, burnt out, or caught in self-doubt. Or maybe you're going through a transition and aren't sure who you are on the other side of it. Whatever brings you here, therapy can be a space where we begin to untangle what isn't working and find a path forward.
I believe we can make space for change without treating who you are as a problem to solve. Together, we'll explore your strengths, the experiences that brought you here, what matters to you, and where you'd like to go from here.
I work with clients navigating:
Anxiety, perfectionism & self-doubt
Depression, loneliness & disconnection
ADHD, executive functioning & burnout
Women’s issues
Chronic illness & health changes
Life transitions, including breakups, and new relationships, career changes & life after high school or college
Self-worth, inner criticism & body image
Stress
Relationship issues
Family conflict
My approach is rooted in a trauma-informed, systemic understanding of people. I’m interested in both your inner world and the relationships, culture, and systems that have shaped you. In the therapy room, I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment theory, and experiential therapy. I also draw from my background in yoga to bring mindfulness and body awareness into the therapy space. Most importantly, our work will be guided by the therapeutic relationship we build together.
I work under the clinical direction of Amy Smith-Barnes, PsyD, and the supervision of Laura Knox-Furfari, LMFT.
You don't have to have it all figured out before you begin. I'm happy to offer a free 15-minute consultation call to answer questions and help you decide if we're a good fit.
