Inviting you to share a care space that gives you full permission to center your needs wholly through patient-centered, culturally responsive, and collaborative service provision.
Hi, I'm Dr. Courtney!
Life's expected and unexpected challenges can sometimes move us into survival mode. We may become a version of ourselves we didn't plan for and lose touch with inner and outer resources that signal to us that we're well. In our work together, you'll receive thoughtful, evidence-based mental health care through your seasons of survival, self-exploration, steadiness, and all those that fall in between.
My Clinical Approach
I earned my PhD in Counseling Psychology, with specialized training in social justice and multicultural counseling from Auburn University. My approach to therapy is collaborative, culturally attuned, and client-centered. Your care is tailored to your identified needs, the identities you hold, and your evolution across our time together.
Drawing primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I believe we experience wellbeing through psychological flexibility: developing personally meaningful approaches that allow us to remain steady and present in life's pleasurable and painful moments.
I am most passionate about providing a transparent, non-judgmental, and safe space to deepen your understanding of self and meet your desired goals for psychological wellness.
