Working through life’s changes, celebrating the little wins, and finding your way together and whatever life may bring you next.
Life transitions can affect how you see yourself, how you connect with others, and how confident you feel moving forward. If you are adjusting to parenthood, feeling distant from your partner, navigating life after deployment, or facing an unexpected change, therapy can offer a supportive place to slow down, feel understood, and identify what you need.
I work collaboratively with individuals, adolescents, couples, and families. Together, we can make sense of what you are experiencing, recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical ways to create meaningful change. You may gain a clearer understanding of yourself and your relationships, stronger communication skills, and greater confidence in handling life’s challenges.
I especially enjoy helping couples understand recurring conflicts, express their needs, and rebuild emotional closeness. Therapy can help you move beyond feeling stuck in the same arguments and begin creating more connection, trust, and understanding.
As a mother, wife, and service member with over a decade of service, I understand the challenge of balancing multiple roles while trying to care for yourself. I am particularly interested in supporting mothers and fathers as they navigate parenthood, postpartum adjustment, and changes in their relationships and identities. I also support service members, veterans, and their families as they navigate changing responsibilities, separation, homecoming, and adjustment to civilian life. I will meet you with curiosity, respect, and an appreciation for the experiences that have shaped you.
I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University. My approach considers the relationships, cultures, and communities that influence your life. I strive to create an affirming, welcoming space where you can bring your full self and feel respected for who you are. I work under the clinical supervision of Laura Knox Furfari, LMFT, and the direction of Meg McLeroy, LMFT.
In therapy, you do not have to face difficult conversations or uncertain transitions alone. My hope is that you leave our work together feeling more understood, connected to your strengths, and equipped with new ways to relate to yourself and the people you love.
