Office Location: virtual only
I believe that we need to take care of our whole selves – our physical, psychological, relational and spiritual health – in order to be whole and mature.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Clinical Professional Counselor Supervisor(CPCS). My practice is virtual only for both clinical work and supervision. I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Florida in 1992 and obtained my M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL) in 1994. I finished a Ph.D. in Supervision and Counselor Education at UGA in 2025.
While in the Chicago area I worked in residential settings and with multi-agency involved families and teens. I served as Assistant Director of Counseling and North Central College in Naperville, IL, and as Director of Counseling at North Park University in Chicago. Following a move to Georgia I opened a private practice in Roswell in 1999.
My counseling approach is shaped by training and experience, as well as growth through struggle in my own life. I continue to enjoy working with adolescents and adults who are going through seasons of struggle. I am particularly experienced and interested in working with trauma, codependency, depression, anxiety, boundaries, shame, family conflicts, and spiritual issues. I have been married since 1994 and have three children. I enjoy hiking and biking, watching SEC football and MLS soccer, and hanging out with horses.
