Kaitlin Lowey, M.A., APC

PRONOUNS: SHE/HER

Office Location: Atlanta

You possess the innate ability to heal wounds, reach clarity, and transform your inner and outer worlds through wise, compassionate self-leadership.

Perhaps you are at a crossroads, feeling unmoored or uncertain about what choice to make in your relationships, career, or life. Maybe you feel powerless against anxiety, OCD, rumination, intrusive thoughts, or the lingering wounds of past trauma. Or perhaps you are frustrated with how stressors impact your mind and body – exhausted by worry, indecision, reactivity, perfectionism, self-criticism, people-pleasing, or compulsive patterns that feel impossible to change. You long to reconnect with the compassionate, confident self-leadership within you—the wise part that knows how to move toward wholeness, connection, and purpose. If so, I would be honored to walk beside you.

Therapeutic Approach

In our work together, I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS) along with neuroscience-informed tools from ACT, ERP (for OCD), Somatic, Psychodynamic, and Existential approaches. Together, we’ll explore and “map” your inner world, helping you heal old wounds and navigate life’s challenges with greater curiosity, clarity, and courage. My goal is to help you cultivate self-leadership that feels grounded, compassionate, and sustainable.

Trust and emotional safety are at the heart of good therapy. In our work, you’ll find a warm, collaborative space where every part of you is met with compassion—especially the parts that hold shame or pain. I offer more than a listening ear; I bring an intuitive, engaged presence, asking thoughtful questions and sharing effective tools to help you create lasting, meaningful change.
