My priority is to provide a compassionate, empowering space for clients to heal, grow, and make meaningful changes.
I assist individuals, couples, and families in all stages of life who are navigating issues related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, neurodivergence, self-esteem, self-awareness, sexual disorders & compulsivity, substance use concerns, and various forms of trauma.
Grounded in humanistic theory, my therapeutic approach is holistic, collaborative, and direct yet compassionate, emphasizing authenticity and self-awareness. I use cognitive behavioral, experiential, and expressive arts techniques to personalize treatment and support each client's unique needs.
I am trained in Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), an intervention for PTSD and C-PTSD, and I have completed extensive training in play therapy to use with children and adapt to support adolescents and adults.
I earned my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University and my BA in Anthropology from the University of Tennessee. My clinical experience includes group work and assisting survivors of abuse, sexual assault, and war work through toxic emotions such as guilt and shame. I am currently pursuing my LPC under the supervision of Laura Knox Furfari, LMFT, and the direction of Meg McLeroy, LMFT.
