In session with me, you can expect to have an intelligent conversation infused with warmth and humanity.

Hi, I’m Gabbie, and I’m passionate about walking alongside people as they navigate some of life’s toughest moments. I specialize in working with grief and loss (e.g. due to the death of a parent, a cancer diagnosis, or family estrangement) depression (e.g. feelings of loneliness, isolation, or disconnection from others) anxiety (e.g. high achieving individuals, social anxiety, health anxiety), relationship and family conflict, breakups, and challenges around self-worth, identity, and professional direction. I also support family members who have a loved one living with borderline personality disorder, helping them build understanding, boundaries, and compassion in complex emotional landscapes.

My approach is grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and strengths-based, collaborative practices. For clients who are drawn to it, I also offer and integrate spiritual exploration, somatic techniques, and mindfulness practices to deepen self-awareness and support healing on a more holistic level.

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine, human connection – where we can explore your experiences together with curiosity, respect, and honesty. Clients often describe me as kind, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. I see myself as human first and therapist second. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can make sense of your story, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward healing and growth at your own pace.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Emory University, a master’s degree in humanistic and transpersonal psychology from the University of West Georgia, and a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Valdosta State University. I see individuals (18+), couples, and families with adult children under the direction of Meg McLeroy, LMFT, and the supervision of Laura Knox-Furfari, LMFT.
