Starting therapy can feel daunting, but being here suggests a readiness to meet your life with greater honesty and care.

I work with adults who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves or their lives. Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, questions of identity, or a sense that something feels “off” even if they can’t quite name it. Others are exploring their relationship with substances or noticing patterns of coping that no longer feel helpful.

My approach to therapy is thoughtful, relational, and grounded in curiosity. I draw from an integrated framework that includes evidence-based practices while placing strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship itself. I believe meaningful change often begins by slowing down, feeling understood, and making sense of one’s inner experience in a non-judgmental space. I aim to offer a calm, supportive environment where clients can speak freely, explore difficult emotions, and reflect more deeply on their patterns, values, and choices. Therapy with me is less about quick fixes and more about developing insight, self-trust, and greater emotional clarity over time. I welcome individuals who are open to reflection and are looking for a collaborative, human approach to therapy.

I earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Georgia, along with a certificate in Substance Use Counseling, and my clinical work has unfolded across a range of settings. I have supported individuals and families as part of a spiritual health team in a cancer hospital, led psychotherapy groups, and worked individually with adults in both inpatient and outpatient care. I have also worked in schools, homes, and community-based settings, meeting people where they are during times of change, distress, and uncertainty. Across these experiences, my work has been grounded in presence, careful listening, and helping people make sense of their lives in ways that support clarity and change. I am working under the clinical supervision of Melissa Grasso, LCSW, and the clinical direction of Meg McLeroy, LMFT.
