Collaborative, Compassionate Therapy for Lasting Change
I believe meaningful change begins with feeling understood. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe exploring life's challenges, building on your strengths, and moving toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns, and I am passionate about helping clients develop a healthier relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves. While I have specialized expertise in eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns, I also enjoy working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, perfectionism, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and I strive to help each client feel genuinely seen, supported, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I tailor therapy to your unique goals and experiences, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing. While growth often requires stepping into discomfort, I believe you don't have to do it alone. Together, we'll build insight, strengthen coping skills, and work toward lasting, meaningful change.
My training includes a doctoral internship at Princeton House Behavioral Health and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina Counseling Center. I have worked across inpatient, outpatient, medical, university counseling, and private practice settings, providing therapy to individuals with a wide range of mental health concerns. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for each person's unique story and reinforced my commitment to providing compassionate, individualized care.
