I believe in collaborating with my clients to empower growth, healing, and resilience in every journey and stage of life.
Whether you are navigating a challenging life transition, seeking to boost your self-esteem, managing anxiety or depression, managing or navigating your Autism Spectrum Disorder symptoms, coping with grief, exploring career options, working through relationship issues, or healing from trauma, I am here to support you on your journey. Together, we can uncover your strengths, foster resilience, and work towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.
Throughout my career, I have assisted clients facing a wide range of mental health concerns, including life transitions, self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, ASD, adjustment disorders, career concerns, relationship challenges, and trauma. My therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual, but I most heavily draw from humanistic approaches, blended with cognitive-behavioral, and third-wave cognitive-behavioral theories (namely: CBT, ACT, and DBT). I believe in a holistic approach to counseling, considering the emotional, mental, and physical aspects. I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The Chicago School and my undergraduate degree in Psychology at The University of the West Indies (Mona Campus) in Jamaica.
I am working under the clinical supervision of Matt Dooley, LPC, NCC, CPCS, and the clinical direction of Meg McLeroy, LMFT.
